♥love birds♥

yes it is true...my baby sister is engaged!!
wade and j i love you both. you two are adorable and so meant for each other.

ChRisTmAs prep & yumminess

the girls and i have been enjoying our time here in san diego the last few days.
grandma always has a laundry list of "chores" for the girls...fun things as chloe calls them.
the girls have been busy baking, getting mani's & pedi's from grandma and of course
stopping for the much needed daily starbucks break. talk about a full and bustling schedule...

{professional taste-testers}

{"are they done yet mommy?"}

{lovin her candy milk}

a first of many more to come

last night ella had her first "real" christmas program. it was so incredibly precious.
the preschoolers opened up the evening with their three
songs (they had been practicing for weeks), and in my opinion, were
the highlight of the evening. yes, i may be a bit biased, but they were pretty darn cute!!

ella & emma

 love the candidness of these next two...typical preschoolness....

lovin on daddy

infamous crazy face picture

as barth and i sat there, we were realizing just how many more of these we get to enjoy in the coming years...

34ish weeks

preparing for baby #3 has had it's definite differences.
it is pretty much non-existent so far...
life is already super crazy and non-stop with two girls under the age of five.
the best part about having all girls, is the ability to reuse much of our "stuff".
i don't have a need for most of the things a newborn requires. clothes...check,
crib...check, blankets, bedding...check & check.
it is now a matter of searching, sifting, organizing and laundering the above.
we are on the hunt for a new carseat. we put our previous one into retirement after chloe.
i think i have narrowed the search down, now i just need to get it.
i have yet to pre-register for our hospital...yes, this is kinda a pertinent,
however, due to barth's schedule and our need to have someone watch the girls, we
just had a chance to "view" the labor & delivery floor a few days ago.
it's on the top of my "to do" list.
i will get things done before her arrival...i hope....but her due date is just around the corner!

a christmas tradition

growing up we looked forward to our trips to the nutcraker. at a young
age, simone & i got to participate in the magical  production during the years
of our ballet training. it has always and will forever be a memory
that brings feelings of happiness and excitement.

it only seems appropriate that our entire "girl clan" would share
the same feelings as their mommies. once they caught word that grandma had
purchased our tickets, the day could not come soon enough.
thank you grandpa and grandma for an amazing evening. we ♥ u!
