what a blessing to wake up to these faces each morning. 

i love each one of you to the moon and back.

it's call week.
i am enjoying all this time i am getting to spend with my girls. no school, no schedule, just lots of play and cuddles.
barth has been on call since monday and it's been a busy one. the girls last saw him on wednesday and will hopefully get in a little daddy time tomorrow. keeping our fingers crossed.
until then i am going to soak up and enjoy every second with my precious babies.

it's beginning to look {and feel} a lot like Christmas!

our home is finally recovering from that nasty bug. what a relief!
we feel so blessed to be sharing this Christmas with family in our new home.
my parents and wade & jasmine having been with us as we enjoy cooking meals together and just hanging out.
the girls are loving every last second of it.
our christmas card tree is packed full of all of your wonderful greetings, and hopefully you have received ours by now!

oh buddy!

we started our Christmas break off with a bang...and not the good sort of bang.
a stomach bug has taken over our home. first riley, then mommy and today chloe. thankfully it seems to be a quick one.
despite the sickness buddy has still managed to bring smiles to the girls faces each morning.

a christmas tradition

we spent this weekend in san diego for our annual trip to the nutcracker. 

it is becoming a very special tradition for me to share with my girls as they get a bit older. 

they think it is pretty cool that mommy had the chance to dance in the production when she was younger. 

today chloe decided that she wants to return to ballet with the hopes of following in my footsteps. sounds good to me baby girl. 

thank you to my parents for planning an amazing outing for us all. and thank you to grandma who always goes above and beyond to make these girls look so darn cute. their outfits were the talk of many. we love u guys♥

starbucks fellowship

what a treat to have barth home with us this morning.

when he announced he would be with us all day {on a week day} my heart skipped a beat. so simple, but made my heart smile. 

we dropped ella off at school and headed straight to starbucks. why would we go anywhere else right?

we met up with our dear friend mr. leo {or chano as i like to call him} and mr. beaver. 

there is no better way to start off your day than with a little starbucks fellowship.

so a little info about the two on the old guys on the outside. they couldn't be more different, but they are inseparable. besties if you can use that term with two grown men. all they do is laugh. i guess you could call it a bromance. but, in all seriousness, we are so grateful for the hernandez family! a truly amazing family.

on of my favorite things about our new home is the sunrises we wake to each morning.
to say they are amazing would just not cut it. they are beyond beautiful.
i love the daily reminder they bring of what an amazingly awesome Creator we serve.
