oh dawnie girl. where to begin. and how in the world are you 8?! from day one you have always been your own special person. actually before you were born we knew God had great plans for you. we almost lost you when mommy was just barely pregnant, lots of prayer and days of bed rest, you kept hanging on. at 23 weeks gestation you again amazed us all. mommy was in a horrible car accident, one that could have easily claimed my life and yours, but he kept me and your sister (in the back seat) safe and you continued to grow stronger in my tummy with each passing day. thank you Jesus. you are so full of life and we are so excited to celebrate you today. here is a little more about amazing little you....
♥ you have a deep love for Jesus. the conversations we share about your faith blow my mind away. (i will forever cherish these talks)
♥ you are a middle child and match that label to a t.
♥ you remind me a lot of myself when i was a little girl (i was a middle sis too)
♥ you are an attention seeker
♥ you have already confessed to a few crushes at school (daddy be prepared)
♥ you love fashion and are known to change your outfit several times after we get home from school
♥ you try to sneak in my room to put on my make up
♥ you have been wanting to get your ears pierced but the fact that pain might be involved might just keep you from ever doing it
♥ you love to role play. your favorites are mom, teacher and pastor
♥ you have a heart of compassion for those that are hurting
♥ you are the worlds slowest eater. we now set a timer each week day morning over breakfast just so we can make it to school on time
♥ you love sharing a room with your big sis and think its horrible to have to go to bed without her there.
♥ you used to cry every single day when i dropped you off at school but we have made some great strides in the last couple of months
♥ you get the heebie jeebies big time. you can thank your daddy for that one.
♥ your emotions can be all over the place in one single day
♥ you have a heart for the homeless
♥ you never forget to bring your Bible to church and always remember to ask for a dollar...for snacks
♥ you know how to push your baby sister's buttons like no other
♥ you love to make fancy sauces in the kitchen that are so not edible.
♥ you love to watch chopped on the food network
♥ out of all your sisters you are the most concerned about what you wear each day
♥ you have a new found love for soccer and reading
♥ you are an early riser and love to wake up before 6am on the weekends.
our sweet chloe we pray you always fix your eyes on Jesus, and know how deeply loved and perfectly made you are. you are truly one of a kind and we are so thankful God chose us to be your mommy and daddy.
