a {5th} graduation

five graduations.
that's how many barth has celebrated.....
thankfully it's looking like his last. finally!

last night barth and alex {aka uncle alex} received diplomas for the completion of their postgraduate training as fellows in orthopedic hand. in short, they have enough knowledge in their heads for five people, seriously.
barth was accompanied by not one, but four ladies last night. talk about a lucky guy!
ella, chloe, riley & myself were more than excited to participate in this special evening. the girls were very proud of their daddy. and i think he kinda liked showing off his little ladies.
typically a kid-free night, the girls brought a little lot of playfulness to the event. i think they had the attention of every single doctor in the room. in a good way...at least most of the time. hey, with no casualties report i considered the night a success!

we are counting down the days now...three more weeks and it's off to loma linda.

she is growing up before my eyes.
i am so proud of the incredible person i see in her.
so full of love. so gentle. the ablility to make u smile {just like her daddy}. an incredible sister.
i wish some days that i could just freeze this stage of life we are in.
i love having all three of my girls home with me. a place where i can protect them.
she will be going to kindergarten next month.
five days a week, all day....

just so you know ella, you are always gonna be mama's baby. no matter how big you get. i ♥ u.

if you know my husband, he is {always} game for all things unconventional...activity-wise

things i would consider a bit off the wall, a bit crazy might i add, he completely thrives on.

lucky for him, he has my brother-in-laws. three peas in a pod they are...

...back to this weekend. they came up with the brilliant idea to transforn themselves into stuntmen.
at least that's what it looked like from my perspective. it was hilarious. here are the pictures to prove it...

frog prince

the girls stumbled upon a frog this weekend.
never has a frog been so loved. probably not what he was thinking.
each one took turns lovingly...most of the time at least...holding their new found friend.
at one point ariana desperately asked her mommy if she could give it a kiss. "maybe not" was the response.

independence day {san diego style}

where to begin.
i feel like we crammed so much fun into one day.
with camera in hand i attempted to capture every moment of the day. i know i missed a few along the way.
we spent the entire day {minus naps} outdoors. it was an absolutely gorgeous day.
nevermind the fact that i had hoped to get that one {cute} shot of all three girls in their red, white & blue...
baths and patriotic attire were surpassed in exchange for countless hours in the pool. it was perfect.
