my graduate

last night we celebrated miss chloe and her completion of pre-k!!
the theme of the event was "around the world". to say it was cute just would not do it justice. it was ADORABLE.
earlier in the week my mom and i went on the hunt to find chloe a hanbok (traditional korean dress). we found it at our first stop.
as soon as chloe tried it on the big day could not come soon enough. it was the topic of her choice and she excitedly shared every last detail with us...over and over and over.
i am so proud of my little girl who has grown so much in the past year. your love for Jesus and others makes my heart smile and i am excited for the great things God has in store for you.

the end of the school year is nearly upon us! where in the world did the time go?

as the end draws closer school related activities are at all an all time high. 

add to that we are in the midst of a call week and you got one pooped mama. 

last night was awards night and expo at ella's school. 

she placed second in the spelling bee and second in the art fair. 

i to see the creative part of her mind coming out. it truly blows me away.

i spent sunday with my favorite people. 

i am so blessed. 

i have the most incredible mom who gives so selflessly on a daily basis. her love is unconditional and unending. she is super grandma. i pray i can be just like her. 

i am blessed cause i get to be the mommy to three little girls who bring me more joy than i ever thought possible.

they look up to me, watching my every move, taking it all in, much like i did with my mom. 

i pray that i may be a source of light to these three precious gifts. that they might see the love of Jesus in my words, my actions, my very countenance. 

i know that i am far from perfect, but they love me simply because i am their mommy.

i didn't capture many moments of the day. i guess i was too busy having fun. at least i got the delicious food our hubby's prepared. 

I pray I can be more like the virtuous woman found in Proverbs...

Who can find a virtuous woman? She is far more precious than jewels... 
Strength and honor are her clothing, and she can laugh at the time to come. 
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue. 
She watches over the activities of her household and is never idle. 
Her sons rise up and call her blessed. 
He husband also praises her: 
Many women are capable, but you surpass them all! 
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.

this past weekend was full of celebrations.
on saturday we celebrated wade's birthday pirate style!
jasmine completely embraced the theme, from the decorations, to the name tags, to the food....
if you know my family you might agree that we know how to have fun :)
happy birthday to uncle wade! so happy we got to share in your special day. we love u!!

Mom's day♥

i got to spend the morning with ella today.
barth's cases unexpectedly got bumped which was a complete blessing in disguise.
when you are a mommy to three you learn to treasure any one on one time you can get. it doesn't happen very often.
ella was so excited and kept reminding me that this was a top secret event, although it took everything in her not to spill the beans.
i love how excited she gets about the sweet and simple things.
i feel so completely blessed and overwhelmed with love when i look at the faces of each of my girls. such an indescribable love.
i am so grateful for the opportunity to love on my girls and to shine the light of Jesus into their lives♥

spring has sprung!

it is warming up around here!
we are enjoying the gorgeous sunshine and awesome southern california weather now before it really starts to heat up.
115 is a bit too hot for this mama.
chloe & riley got to enjoy a last minute stop to the playground at daddy's work.
i put the iPhone away and snapped a few pics with my neglected camera :)

i have seen so much growth in her lately.
she talks in sentences now. it's the cutest thing ever.

her ability to communicate is mellowing her out a bit. definitely a welcome change.
my ability to reason with her is increasing more and more. another welcome change. guess those little neurons in her brain are starting to connect.
she is still as busy as ever and the toughest little cookie.
i love her to pieces.
