Birthday suprises!!

Happy ??th Birthday Pink Gramma!!!

I LOVE surprises!! So when we started working on plans for our next trip up to the northwest, we thought how fun would it be to surprise Pink Gramma (Barth's mama) for an early birthday celebration?! A HUGE thanks to Auntie Tawna for helping us pull it off...it couldn't have turned out any better!!

The girls did really well on the flight down...considering we woke them up at 4am

We are back from our trip...which means I have lots to blog about :)

Flower power

I am loving all the spring clothes you can find in the stores now...my favorite part is all the beautiful, light & airy colors. I think I am done with all the rain we have gotten and ready to move on to the warm sunny days!! Last night I worked on a few flower clips...perfect accessory for all those adorable outfits. I tried to play around with my camera a bit too on this first shot...

Ella had her Valentine's party at preschool this week...our assignment: treats!! I thought we could handle that task. We quickly got to work making one of my favorites..SUGAR COOKIES. The only thing better then the basic sugar cookie is heart-shaped sugar cookies!! Ella & Chloe were great helpers.

I am LOVING this new camera, but there is still a lot that I am learning and trying to get comfortable with. I have attempted to tackle the manual that came with camera, but I am having more fun just figuring things out as I go along. Here are a few practice shots...
