a little fishy

we have a little fish on our hands.
ella is amazing me every week with her progress in swimming.
she went from a starfish..skipped right over seashore (level 2) and became a clownfish.
i was very hesistant when riley was born to keep her in lessons.
i wasn't too sure i would be able to keep up with her schedule and a newborn baby.
she was LOVing it and i figured, let's just go for it. we will make it work, baby and all.

so happy to report she is now able to swim over 15 ft unassisted with her face in the water.
they are working on "rainbow arms" aka the freestyle and she is catching on quickly.
i am so proud of you miss ella...here's to becoming a spotted seal by the end of the month!!

3 peas in a pod

i love looking back at all the pictures of the girls.
sometimes it is hard to tell who is who. especially with ella and riley.
these ones were all taken the morning after they were born.

in other news....
riley had her 1 month check up this week.
we have another thriving baby on our hands....
10lb11oz
22 1/2 inches

i think ella wins the big baby contest for month one....

happy month day!!

miss riley roo!!

a few of my favorite things...
nursing every 2 hours {3 @ nighttime}
being held
spitting up...sorry mommy for my mess
dancing to blackeyed peas {video to soon follow}
sleeping while mommy does her errands...most of the time
getting fussy just in time for mommy to make dinner
getting toted around to all of ella's lessons
smiling
being swaddled
having my toes covered...cold feet make me fussy
my sister's endless kisses

hangin with the baileys

our besties paid us a visit this weekend.
i met kristi on my first day at seattle pacific...we lived right across the hall from each other.
although we live in different states {her in oregon}, we have been able to keep in touch.

we love getting together any chance we get, which is not too often.
our hubbies keep each other very entertained..to say the least, and the kiddos love playing.
there is never a shortage of girls for mr. andrew. i have a feeling he doesn't mind too much.

thank you so much for visiting us...so happy you got to meet miss riley.

time out

time outs.
usually a dreaded form of punishment for my kiddos.
funny how when you get older, you would do anything for a "time out".
i wake up every morning and tell myself "i am supermom".
however, there are many times during the course of my day that my super powers wanna give out.
three kiddos is a lot of work, not to mention three princess'.

i am adjusting to our new life. days are often times a blur, but so rewarding at the same time.
the mommy of three girls...what a blessing, but still hard to believe.
my daily errands and usual quick trips to the store are now planned to a T, down to the very second.
i now have an entire entourage...and one that draws quite a bit of attention.
people seem so willing to offer an extra hand...and the girls....
well they are often times on the receiving end of endless ooohs & ahhhs, treats, extra samples,
bumps to the front of lines...just to mention a few...i don't think the girls mind too much.

this weekend we enjoyed a nice "time out" together as a family.

{me and my big girls}

{my little picture poser...she did this one by herself}

{my little sass}

 {gave mommy a break}

{did i mention, really sassy}

{our favorite part...we had daddy all to ourselves}
