break

We enjoyed a much needed break from this whole moving thing. Life has been
a bit hectic the past month and the girls have been handling it pretty well....
all things considered. We headed to our home away from home and enjoyed
a peaceful morning on the beach. The girls could have spent the entire day there
drinking "candy milk", collecting shells and building castles. We promise
girls....this move is nearing an end...thank you for hanging in there!!

what's a trip to the beach without a little treat from Starbucks

my sweet ella is always willing to pose for the camera

chloe's expressions are priceless...I could just sit and take pictures of her all day

ella + grandma = bff's

chloe made a new friend...it wasn't alive, but she thought it was

only one thing better then the beach. that's having grandma at the beach

good bye beach we will be back again very soon....

what training wheels?

It is just one more step towards becoming a big girl...no training wheels. Well we
kinda skipped those things in the beginning and helped Ella master the balance thing on
her "skoot" bike (like a big girl bike, but no pedals). It took her no time to grasp that concept. So
last week we decided to give her a try on a real bike. It took literally a few tries and she
was off. There was no stopping her. She loves it and we are so proud.

tiny miracle

We are so excited about this tiny new blessing!! Baby Riedel #3 is already
very much loved. The girls, especially Ella, love talking about their new
baby and already have decided it's a boy....not sure about that one.

baby at 8 weeks

getting bigger at 12 weeks...baby is super wiggly and loves to wave it's hands around.
The girls are certain baby is saying "hi" to them. Thank you for all your continued prayers!!

blog-worthy

We have been doing a ton of house-hunting lately. I think the girls have had it. I think I have had it.
After driving around we have gotten to know the Pasadena area pretty well. It is a
gorgeous city with lots to offer.

While driving around we have seen some beautiful sights and some unexpected ones as well. Peacocks.
Dozens and dozens of them in one particular neighborhood. Roaming the yards, perched in
trees, stopping traffic with their little babies trailing behind. It was crazy and fun.

a mommy and her babies

they are really aggressive and act as though they own the neighborhood

The Peafowl

We stopped a lady who was taking a walk to get the story behind these guys. They originally
had their home in the los angeles arboretum/botanical gardens and decided to extend their
territory to the surrounding neighborhoods. They are so common the
people don't even notice them anymore. I am sure the girls and I will
be frequenting the area for the "peafowl".

build-a-bear

In honor of miss Ariana's birthday, Boppy (Simone) took all three girls to Build a Bear.
The girls had so much fun choosing out their stuffed animal, I think mine changed their minds
several times. Ella and Chloe both took home a Hello Kitty and Ari chose a bear from
the ice cream collection. Thank you Ari for an awesome outing!!

waiting patiently....before they decided to choose another animal

Ella named her Hello Kitty Hannah. She has slept with it every night since then

Time for a little grooming...the girls stayed at this station for quite some time

ready to take Hannah home

Happy 3rd Birthday Ariana!!!

imma be

A quick explanation of this video....

It has become a Loma Linda tradition for the graduating residents to create and present a video at the end of the year banquet. Barth took the lead on this one and thought it would be fun to make a music video featuring their class. After hours of shooting and editing here is the finished product...it's pretty funny!!
