whistler:: the river & the lake

if you were to ask ella and chloe what their favorite part of the trip was, their answer would most definitely be climbing the rocks by the river.
this made mommy a bit nervous and grandma really nervous as the waters are moving very quickly.
it was however a beautiful place for pictures.

riley loved putting her toes in the water, even though the water was freezing

this is the lake {lost lake} we jogged/walked to just about every morning.
it is so peaceful.
an extra bonus for the girls...tiny toad migration was happening, which meant hundreds of frogs to be found. it was like an easter egg hunt, only completely different.
